The Mondeo Titanium X Estate scooped the top spot, with the Skoda Octavia Scout 4x4 a close second. The Mondeo also topped the £25,000-£32,000 category.

In the less than £16,000 section, the Skoda Roomster Scout 1.9 TDI took the honours, while the £25,000-£32,000 ranking was headed by the Ford Mondeo Zetec five-door hatch.
