forget the std clutch they are crap.

uprated sachs one from IP is about 450... prob 150 labour ish to fit ....

this comes with the lightweight flywheel and does a proper job...

no idea on the std one.. but at main dealer labour rates would assume not to dissimilar.

Hmmm... perhaps not, but there might be an additional insurance premium :P I'll get some quotes for the work first.

IP are mail order down south... not sure insurance would car / ever look for an uprated clutch... not like it makes the car faster....

as for the labour quote... on behalf of skodaspannerman i will stand by that... he will do it for 150.. maybe even less if you ask him nice...

Hi all I have a ŠKODA Fabia 2008 with the absolute basic speedometer cluster, I was fortunate enough to be able to acquire a MFA+ version from a Roomster, which by my understanding is basically enough, however I am having some issues understanding how to adapt the millage to reflect what my car actually has the donor cluster has more millage than my car and I wonder if it is possible to update the millage to reflect the car millage, I am aware this is a bit of a grey area but I want to have a c

Hi, i now have a Kodiac IV hybrid as my company car, 5 weeks old and already 5500 miles, so getting lots of use. Couple of things i have concerns about. The brakes don't seem to be up to the job, i thought it might be because they were new and would bed in, but sometimes i really have to stand on the pedal to get it to stop, i doubt weather they are strong enough to bring any form of anti lock into operation, and secondly, several times now i haven't been able to refuel, the pump nozzle clicks o

Hi I would like some advice feedback. I just had my 3rd major service for my 2023 Skoda Octavia VRS and noticed that this time they used 0w-20 oil but the previous they used 0w-30w oil. According to my understanding the oil recommended for the tsi engine is 0w-20 to its thinner viscosity meeting emissions regulations and being better for the turbo engines under heavy loads than the 0w-30 which has a thicker viscosity. Thankfully i don't place much load on the engine, apart for loading the car f
