Storage Drawer

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been covered before, i'm new and just cant find it through the search function.

Some fabia's have a "storage drawer" under the stereo, and i was curious is it actually a pull out drawer or does the door go up inside a bit like a bread bin (best thing i could think of to compare it to)

Mine just has the "cubby hole" and i'm after a scenario like above where the door folds up inside, so if the storage drawer isn't like this does anybody know of one from another skoda or possibly an audi/vw/seat?

Many thanks in advance.

It's a pull out drawer I believe.

One side is a drawer, the other side is a cup holder. I do have some "action" pics somewhere but Ive lost them:(

Edit...OOooh, there they are! The flash makes it look like the colours are different, but rest assured its the same colour to the eye!

A cross ballpoint fits nicely

sorry to revive this one people, but it seems pointless to start a new thread since its in the same area. Can you get a cup holder for each side of the stereo (apparantly a work colleagues father has an octy vrs with one each side - is he full of it?)

is the part number starting 6yo listed earlier a seat or skody part no Any one know ??

Don't think you could

fair enough - i wouldn't be brave enough anyway - i was just curious

Thought you might want a different angled photo :)

The twin one is usually found as standard fitment in a Lupo. So I think originally it's a VW part, although quite possibly copied across VAG. So they may be multiple part numbers for it. I know when I had one before, it was a VW part.

Having tried all of the offerings, I have to say the current drawer is the most useful. Mainly because things don't drop out when accelerating briskly, like with the standard cubby hole :D

And with the cupholder/drawer, I didn't find the drawer to be useful and big enough to put anything there.

Side cupholder, yes - one is available. Originally a Polo 9N part IIRC. There's part numbers and details on the site - try a search....
