skoda rapid 130 mod to a porsche 550

i thought banhams were cool, and liked the idea of the boxer alfa engine there at the back - but it is heavier than the alloy skoda engine. Tuned skodas go quite well - just dont expect top end power/speed to be much...

..but then i am running a 1.3 seven kit car already - and you dont need big power to have fun.

firstly lighten the heavy flywheel which will help off the line acceleration - and maybe lighten the clutch plate (big drilled holes) - then see if you need/want more power.

it might be worth swapping the carb over before playing with engine internals in a big way too :-)
