What an example though eh?

Why is it I never have the money when a deal like this pops up?

I bought one much the same a while back.

Genuine 11,000 miles, FSSH £200.

Great little car.

I bought one much the same a while back.

Genuine 11,000 miles, FSSH £200.

I'd love to get a bargain like that, but the only things I tend to see are cars hyped by the seller on Ebay selling for quite a bit, or people expecting too much. For example SKODA FAVORIT GLXIE - eBay Skoda, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 15-Oct-07 22:34:33 BST) £2k for a favorit?! You what?!

That one on ebay could do with a good underbody sealing to make sure it stays good.

I must admit I did have a helping hand as it was a trade in at the Skoda dealer I worked at. They let me have it for what it owed them as a favour as my pick up was being repainted.

bargain for someone after they run it in... :D

i bought my felicia 1.3 lxi from a dealer for a grand and that only had 30,000 miles on it then.... 6 months ive had it now its needed so much replacing on it, its spent 3 months off the road and it seems to attract scratches and dents.....i just dont want to get another car though, its my first car and its my pride and joy!

just shows though that even with low mileage there can stil be a lot of problems with it

Not as cheap as barbiegirl - £0.00. :D But that one down my way is in a fair bit better condition.

WOW certainly the word.

I love cars like this... time warp! 8 years old and just like it was bought new from the dealer! weird!

Yeah it's great at shows to see the odd car with very low genuine miles, and the owner pointing out it's been garaged and not one bit has been touched.

Trigger's medal in Only Fools and Horses for using the same brush for 20 years comes to mind. He points out it's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles.

oh i love that bit of the episode!

It is good when you find older cars with really low mileage.

OMG they want how much for a favourite! :0

SORRY TO THE 72 EBAYERS WATCHING MY CAR ALL WEEK.

RELISTED DUE TO AN ERROR IN THE LISTING.

THE LISTING WAS REPORTED FOR KEYWORD SPAMMING.

EBAY WOULD NOT ALLOW (as new) IN THE TITLE OF THIS LISTING.

:finger:

Obviously wrong because "as new" wouldn't be considered keyword spamming and the original auction was not cancelled (seller cancelled all bids and ended auction).

I seriously think someone should make 2 fake Ebay accounts now and bid with one to outbid with the other and take the price up to maybe £4k, then send an email letting them know why it was done on completion of the auction. I.e. you waste my time and money, I waste yours thanks.

I bet he paid next to nothing for the car to his "elderly family friend".

Bet he swindled him for it and now will be selling (or trying to sell) at a profit, hence why he ended the auction, becuase it wasn't going to make enough.

But what he's got to remember is that at the end of the day, people aren't going to pay over the odds for it, yeh its got REALLY low miles, but low elderly person miles and is still a felicia.

Here's a Felicia 23k miles for £1500 buy it now

SKODA FELICIA 1.6 GLXI 1998 23,000 MILES LIKE NEW CAR - eBay Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 14-Oct-07 19:56:27 BST) Asking a bit much me thinks. Particularly seeing that a much lower mileage one reached probably around £1k before the seller cancelled it. At least this seller has done it right with a reserve and a firm asking price. But unfortunately has the get-out clause of "advertised elsewhere", which is wrong IMO.

That 1.6 is more like it. I think thats good value at £1500, and the 1.6 AEE is one of the most durable engines in the world. :)
