Just bought this game today for the PS3 (yes that's right, an actual game for the PS3!) and it's pretty damn good.

I'm still quite poo at winning races but barrelling round a rally track in a Fabia WRC is great fun. The first quality driving game for't PS3 I reckon.

played the 360 demo, is the steering weird on ps3? it felt as if you're rotating the car rather than steering it :confused:

The game is also available for the XBOX360, I have the demo on mine currently and I think its pretty good. I'll buy it eventually, but keep on thinking back to the old arcade machines.

I always have the camera angle where you can just see the bonnet of the car in front instead of the whole car, so more realistic. But no, the steering is OK on the PS3 version, plenty of scope for lengthy drifts and epic crashes (or bumps in the case of this game). I reasearched the game against Colin McRae (RIP) DIRT and previous CM titles have always been too hard for me with all the crashing an that. I like it when you just bounce off stuff and carry on!

I played the demo on the 360 and compared with what is coming e.g. PGR4 then it can wait (if I buy it at all)

I was a fan of the original though Arcade, Saturn and Sega Rally 2 on the Dreamcast all quality.

Dirt is too, PGR3 and Forza2 are the only driving game I play...

Juiced 2 is naff aswell!

Just got this today on the PS3 and I think its great.

Ok, its not that realistic,or involving like some driving games, but its ok to just put on, disengage brain and blast around the tracks in a vRS

Even the missus had a go in 2 player mode, she was an octy and I was a furby,

needless to say I won

I downlkoaded the deom on the eggbox, and although it briefly brought back happy memories of the arcade machine, thats all it did for me. I thought it was pretty dull.

PGR3 doesnt float my boat either, and CM Dirt I just can't get into.

Forza 2 is king, until GT5 comes out anyway. Then a ps3 will be required.

I agree with shifty on this one, though i do like pgr3 online.

I played the game th other day and thought it felt a bit pants, it was a good arcade classic, not sure it is well represented here.
