Can anybody recommend a suitably qualified advanced driving instructor for a days driving instruction in the South Wales area?

I'm sure it's easy enough o find some on the web, but I'd always rather go on recommendation than a "pin the phone book" approach

What sort of training are you after? IAM or the like?

You could always give Clive Jones a call - he's a top driver and a jolly nice fellow to boot

I was after something along the IAM lines although I don't want to join the IAM at this stage. A days instruction on improving observation, road positioning, car control, safe overtaking etc. Sort of thing covered in Road Craft.

I'm not interested in anything track based.

Clive used to run the South Wales police driving school - there's probably not any better instructor in the area

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it.

It's coming up to the "what do you want for Christmas" time so hopefully it won't be me that has to splash the cash.

I also have a very king offer from another IAM member to show me few basics which is much appreciated.
