Just wondering if there was anyone here from herts or north london area willing to meet at the ace cafe on the north circular.

It is a regular vag meet on the last tuesday of each month. It would be good to get a few more Skoda's there as I am currently the only one there every month. :(

It could be a good way of getting to know a few more people from here.

I hope to hear from a few of u. The next meet is on the 25th March.

Love the sound of your Fabia - have you got any pictures you can post?

I'm thinking about a wheel upgrade and lowering springs myself.

How did the springs effect the ride and handling?

What benefits did you get with the cold air feed and the s/s exhaust?

I'd love to arrange a Fabia meet, but London is a bit far.

A Fabia meet would be a great idea! Chance to meet up with like minded people for a chat about the good points and the occasional bad points that creep up.

I'll be at GTi international this year on a club stand. Hopefully it can generate some more interest in the great little car. Maybe some of us could meet there for a chat and see if we could organise something

Should be a good weekend. Gonna go up for both days. Plan to get the car up the strip on Sunday. Might even venture out onto the tyre test course!

GTi international eh? Ive always wanted to visit that show , never got down to bug jam in my luft kuhle bug , maybe id better treat myself to a weekend of wasserpumpers! Are there many non VW cars there ie Skoda/SEAT/Audi?

Quite a turn out of Seats and Audi's, but don't recall any Skoda on club stands. A few on tuners stands. I'm hoping to generate some interest by having mine on a club stand!

yeah im sure we're up for bumping up the skoda numbers at this vag meet. We'll bring the vRS but are pre-vag take over cars welcome, or are they just the poor cousin frowned upon by our adoptive german parents? Skoda Rapid 136 Coupe anyone?

Ace cafe? heard of it, but don't know where it is.

I don't think it should be a problem. After all, Skoda is now a vag company, so all the products should be accepted. Can't say for everyone there, but it doesn't bother me at all. I actually like the old rapid coupes. Look forward to seeing u there m8 :cheers:
