Make of it what you will...

TBH getting a bit fed up of the F1...Almost every no. EVERY OTHER racing seems much much more involving and exciting to watch.

And that includes the 2penny racers at Llandudno Pier I swear to god they are better fun than 2hours of F1 ATM. Plus you get icecreams, beach walks and a 3 hour drive in Wales  , So go to Turkey Bernie :finger:

Can go, fed up of it, not a patch on BTCC \ WRC for spectators.

WRC is for gay boys in 4wd batty wagons.. :gay:

BTCC is king for FWD but tbh am much more of a GT fan... real men in RWD!

You only like GT cos Shane "boyzone" lynch is in it - I know you were heartbroken when they split ;)

It's the end of a contract, not the end of the race per se.

we can but hope... :D

i heard ffelan was glued to "The Games" cause Shane was on that too... someone mentioned he shed a tear with Shane when the boyz turned up at the indoor track to watch the gynastics event.

only what i heard mind !

i also think BTCC and WRC is better... F1's gone right down the nick for entertainment... i mean, who really wants to see schuey win every single beedin race all the bleedin time !?

bring back Damon Hill and Nigel Mansell !!!

Think we will lose the GP as there are plenty of oil rich/government supporting countries out there who are willing to throw serious money at it which we aren't. Personally it doesn't bother me as im not going to pay that amount to go and watch a GP race live .... but im still a great supporter of GPs as the elite of racing.

To me GPs are a lot better this year and I don't have any problem with Schuey winning everything as he is the best. The rest talk a lot of big talk (Montoya, Coulthard etc) but don't perform. I have really enjoyed some of the racing this year - admittedly most of the best stuff is not for the lead but that doesn't to me lower the enjoyment. BTCC has been going downhill for several years - was brilliant about 6/7 years ago but is now reasonably ok racing but nothing special. WRC was my favourite but the new regs limiting cars per team have just made it a race between about 6 official manufacturers cars with the rest nowhere - why the hell did they wreck the whole thing?

Silverstone is one hell of a building plot, need I say more !!!

Love silverstone as a circuit (used to be my "local") but have no desire to pay the costs of GP.. BTCC \ ETCC \ GT \ F3 all far more fun racing - and especially clio \ mini support races.

PAY??

pay to see racing?

havn't paid for years...try marshalling, get involved, get in free and get a far better view than the public as well.Or even better get technical - pit lane can be interesting when the pit stops are happening

marc :D:D

Or provide 1st Aid cover I havent paid for years

...or pay far less than it costs to get a seat at the GP and actually DRIVE Silverstone at Trax this year (see national events for details ;) ) with the rest of BriSkoda!

Rallying is where it's at, regardless of what the shirtlifter who likes being driven from the rear thinks :P

To me rallying or to be more exact, WRC, is the pinnacle of motorsport. Loose surfaces and changing conditions give me that anyday compared to this roundy roundy stuff.

As to whether it matters if there is no British grand prix, no, I don't think it does although it might matter to all the teams based in the UK.

Would have completely agreed a few years ago but am so depressed with rallying nowadays - special stages repeated / short rallies / very limited number of cars at the top :thumbdwn: I still yearn for the old days of "proper" rallies like the Safari with real seat of the pants drivers on nightmare roads with Lancia Stratos's, Peugeot 504s, Dodge Ramchargers etc ........ sorry dribbling into my old age reminiscing here :rolleyes:
