This is an old photo but represents somewhat what they look like now.

Plan is to get wheels refurbed at some point so I have photoshopped a range of different colours to see what works best. I thought rather than go for the usual boring silver I'd try see what else might work, and have selected the following 4 variations. (I felt blue, green, and yellow drums did not work with the red of the car). Any opinions?

White with drum painted silver.

White with black drum.

Black with red drum.

Black with silver drum.

...They look awesome in white, very revolution/compomotive rally style.

I saw a Favorit estate once with those rims painted white and it was used as a night rally support car. Probably be better in black on an estate though.

I vote for white alloy red drum just to be akward lol

i've a fav with those alloys painted white. they get mistaken for compomotives all teh time but it changed the look instantly to rally-slag. i mean instatnly. in my not so expert opinion that won't work on an estate.

plus, if you do them black and lower it muchly, you will be living out my fantasy for the blueypurple estate i just sold, and i'd be much grateful lol.

From the mock-ups i've voted for Black alloy Red drum cos i like the contrast between the two and the continuity with the drum & car.

Yours surprising_skod. I might try getting a hp sport shocks set at some point but money is a little tight at moment :( One of my shocks is definitely on it's way out anyway as apparently one failed on the car and previous owner only had the one replaced.
