When i change gears from second to third it's not so smooth, it rattles like there is some problem with synchrons? I sure hope i dont have to change entire gearbox because of this :thumbdwn:

do you mean it crunches into 3rd gear , if it is , it could be a damaged synchro/baulk ring which usually leads to the gear being damaged also , renewal of parts will require a gearbox strip

repair parts and labour to strip may be more expensive than a replacement box from the scrapyard(if available)

It's really unusual since it covered only 70k miles and i have to change the gearbox... Realy didnt expect this :(
