Whats the best price anyone has managed to get a Turbo Dynamics stage 2 turbo for for the VRS? Looking to replace my turbo (think from the noise increase mine is on the way out) but was hoping to do it in the cheapest poss way. I have seen some people have managed to haggle Turbodynamics down a bit on their prices?

£975+VAT last time I checked when I was looking. The Allard VT2 is cheaper but not by much any more, at least not like it used to be.

Also think it £350 + vat it your exchange your turbo last time I looked. Note they dont except the KKK turbo from the fabia vrs.

Anyone got any info on reliability as the warrenty is 12K or 12 months. I am wondering how reliable these units are if mapped within reccomended boundaries and looked after.

The turbo's are capableof pushing around 30psi + there are no reliabilty problems with them (well no more than normal) if you look after the engine as i know most of you will then there should be no problems,im looking into a new map for these as well so we can get the power figures up around 200+bhp.

The retail price btw is £975+vat but they are not exchange units as the turbo is different to the original but im seeing what i can do them for........

When you say 30psi, can it be used in trackdays @4700/4800 doing the 30psi????

It is technically possible, but it's recommend you uprate a Garrett turbo, rather than further work on a KKK unit.
