Hi

I was wondering whether anyone could help me out? I'm looking for a particular sill cover that I found a picture of on this forum for a Mk I Octy vrs. I'm looking for the ones in the first pic with VRS etched on them.

Unfortunately the closest I can get are the VRS Motorsport ones in the second pic from J H M Butt and Co.

I have even tried Skoda but the best they can do are the sill covers with the Octavia logo on them.

Any ideas?

Nah I just got front set as well. I think the rear set is a bit overpriced for a little piece of black plastic with sticky tape on the back!! :thumbdwn:

Yep they're still £23.93 exc. VAT for the front ones. I'm pretty sure the rear are a tad cheaper but I didn't ask how much.

I got my sill covers and installed them this weekend. They defininately are a nice little accessory and a piece of cake to install.

I finally got round to ordering my sill covers this week and they arrived today.

Quick question though,

The driver's side has stripes going accross it where as the passenger side doesn't.

EDIT £55!!! What a rip off!

The way to get round the stripes on one side and not the other is to fit two of the side you prefer, as they are symmetrical and one protector fits either side...First hand experience!

That's a shame. At least I know now that's the way the are and I didn't get an umatched pair. Does seem odd though.

There not supoosed to be like that as there two different part numbers for each side, i just think they have had a batch printed wrong...

Well that sucks! :( I just ordered them using the part numbers above, which is what I got. Not going to be easy changing something for something else possibly with the same part number. Nevermind, will have to make do.
