Whatevers best for people , prob Scotch Corner hotel car park might be the best place for people as you have to go that way to Blackpool .

Was up the lakes today and the new bit of the A66 doesnt half save you time , used to take me 50 mins+ from Scotch Corner Hotel to Appleby but today it only took 35mins and that was going easy . No sign of any gatsos / camera vans . . . YET

I'll probably be highly hung over that day as it's the day after my engagement do! Plus I should have a Leon by then too, would I even still be welcome?

Im coming (obviously) and think that travelling in convoy should be a laff! Only thing is me & swmbo are wanting an early start so we get there with a full day ahead of us, so what time should we meet at Scotch egg corner? :confused:
