Hello! from Yorkshire

Hi to all of you on this site. I found the site while researching about the maxidot computer on Skoda cars. Looks like an interesting & useful site.

I'm considering replacing my Renault Scenic with a 1.4TDiRoomster, but i can't decide between the 3 and the scout....

I like the appearance of the scout: the plastic body mouldings, sunset glass and internal upholstery. I also like the EPS as standard and the 3 spoke steering wheel.

but

I like the kit that comes with the 3: cruise control, sunroof, rear parking sensors & arm rest.

It costs more to add the '3' kit to the scout than it does to add the scout kit to the '3', except, of course that you can't add the body mouldings to the '3'.

Does anyone have any comments either way?

It will be the family car on the few occassions when we all travel together: 2 adults, 2 teenagers & 1 10yr old. Mostly it will be driven by me locally and on longer journeys to go scuba diving. Sometimes I will be transporting young grandchildren in enormous child-safety seats.

 Good to have more members from Gods own

Welcome :)

Get the Scout and have done with it :)

Welcome
