Featured Replies

Hi all,Is there anyone out there with a FMIC on their furby VRS that would mind posting some pics of it and the way the pipework is routed etc.

Have a lovely alloy intercooler that will fit a treat on my car but just need some assistance on the pipework front any advice/pics will be greatly appreciated !

What sort of size is the IC? Anywhere near the size of the Forge one or maybe the Allard one? Does it have the intake and outlet on the same side of does it flow through?

It flows from one side to the other,The Ic itself is the same size and is a rea nicel quality one.

Why the roll eyes?

Ideally, for easiness, you want to follow the oem path. This means piping into it in the same place as the SMIC does. If you outlet comes out pointing toward the nearside, you need to bring it back under/over the IC to join back up with the oem turbo pipe. Mine comes out the top of my IC and goes through the engine bay. I'm also confused by the "" - I wouldn't have been able to answer without knowing the entry/exit points. :)

So where does the lower pipe come through,Ive looked at a couple of Fab Vrs's and cant seem to work out how you get the lower pipe through the bit between the wheelarch liner and the space behind the front bumper.

If your making up custom pipes its only a matter of a bit of trimming.
