New Pads - bedding in.

If you fit standard brake pads (or pay someone else to do it, in my case :shhh: ), do they require any specific bedding-in?

I know that you need to be more careful with competition or semi-competition pads, but I wondered if there was an accepted method for bedding in standard road pads to prepare them for use?

Used to buy my pads from the dealer, till I watched the service guy at a citroen garage go "out the back" and across the road to a small independant place then come back and charge me

Euro car parts stock the pads for the vRS (132 kw model) and you can choose between ATE and Pagid.

Both are OEM, and cost about
