Check Koni's website, but I think that the same FSDs for Octavia II will fit both Combi and Hatchback.

You might like to try Demon Tweeks Motorsport, Motorcycle, Modifying, Parts and Accessories they are a UK tuning parts firm that stock Koni and I know will ship worldwide; but the may be expensive compared to a European supplier.

can anyone tell me what product code does the shocks dor o2 combi have????

product code is 2100-4000 for koni fds shock absorber kit

not sure about combi & 4wd models

Hmmm I think the correct Koni part number is actually 2100-4001.

If you are looking for FSD`s for the mk2 Octy there are 2 sizes to choose from that is where it gets difficult

We do them cheap

Awesome - Koni Suspension Products

Sarah's right, but I understand all Octy vRS models sold in the UK have 55mm struts, hence the 4001 part number. But I'm willing to be proved wrong...

Ah yes; but radutzu who wants them is in Romania so may have the 50mm struts; BUT

The main question he was asking is; is there a difference between the FSDs for the Hatch and Estate/Combi vRS?

AFAIK there is not.

Hi

It states on our web site that they do not do the estate or the 4x4

So I called Koni UK and they said that they will not fit

Sorry

Well done Sarah.

So now we all know; if you want to buy a vRS and upgrade the handling with FSDs go and buy a hatch NOT estate.

radutzu Sorry to hear that they won't fit.

I wonder what the difference could be, after all the combi only weighs 15kg more than the hatch (according to Skoda brochure)?

Does anyone know if the standard damper part numbers for the hatch and combi are different?

The rear suspension might be completely different on the estate.

The rear suspension might be completely different on the estate.

Could be, but as its an A5 platform car I would have thought they'd all be the same, e.g. Octy Hatch & Combi, Golf, Golf Plus, A3, Leon, Altea, etc.

I could see the dampers being a slightly different rating than the hatch, but even then the capacities on both are similar.

A set of these was going to be Father Christmas' present to me this year . . . . I'm fed up with socks! :(

The rear suspension might be completely different on the estate.

Rear suspension on Estates is often different as it is designed for minimum intrusion of the suspension turret into the load area. Consequently shock absorbers can be different sizes.

Perhaps someone can look up the OEM part nos?

I've done a quick check in the Accessory section of Skoda's website and all springs and sports suspension have different part nos for 1)Hatch 2) Estate and 3) 4x4 variants of the Octavia
