I am thinking of putting my old Favorits, 136i Ecu on Ebay to sell.

just wondered if any one had ever bought or sold one on there and if its worth it ???

They cost a bomb new. Butts of Bawtry list them at £269.99 new or £100 second hand. I saw one on ebay ages ago which at the time I saw it was probably at a tenner, and can't remember how much it sold for. I am considering getting rid of the 135i ecu I have spare too.

Problem is you need the market for it, i.e. someone who's just had one die. If you put it on ebay you'd want a highish start price to make sure that if someone *needs* one, they pay more than 99p. I guess maybe it could be worth £30-40 for someone who's just had one die, maybe £10-20 or someone who wants it as a spare in case their dies.

If you were interested we could probably swap ECU's so we have spares for our cars, if you have the 135.
