i currently have the mk1 fabia 1.2 12v,what is this engine like in the roomster ?

It has 70 bhp and weighs the same as the fabia. 0-60 is the wrong side of 15 secs....

It also has no kit, proper poverty spec. It's £600 extra for the 1.4 which is 15 bhp better off....

Totally different! I drove a Polo 1.4TDI a while back, and it had all the usual diesel attributes with low down torque. Having said that< I'd want more torque in a Roomster, which is likely to carry greater loads.

If you are going to use a Roomster to its potential , ie crammed with kit , people , mountain bikes , camping gear ect , then I would think you would want one of the more 'beefy' engine options.
