Hi guys, Took the plunge yesterday and put a deposit down on a late 05 Octavia VRS mk2

Ill get some pictures up when I collect it on friday.

Im coming from owning 2x 300zx's and was just fed up with their lack of reliability and fuel consumption.

Im hoping I wont be disapointed with the performance it felt quick on the test drive obviously not 300zx TT performance but still quick.

Do alot of people get their VRs spec'd up? If so who do they go to and what sort of difference can you mate with a few light mods or just a remap? Also does doing it affect the reliability of the car?

On a final note is there a VRs specific section to this forum?

The vRSs definately aren't in 300zx territory but they move when you put your foot down.

It seems almost the law to tinker with your vRS after purchase although what to do with it depends on whether you've got yourself a petrol or diesel Octavia. Apart from that I couldn't tell you as I'm from the Fabia 'branch' of the vRS family

There's no vRS specific section to the forum although you'll find the majority of 'active' people are vRS owners
