Bonkers Land Rover

Featured Replies

Went with my brother last night to look at a Land Rover he'd heard of for sale. Thinking it was a V8 Petrol long wheelbase we duly travelled 50 miles until we arrived at a quarry to meet this guy.

Anyway this Landie is a 130 Long Long Wheelbase Twin crewcab/pick up with huge wheels and a 6.0 litre V8 Diesel I think its an Oldsmobile Engine and Manual box boy does this thing shift f**k its like a Humvee and you should hear it. :wow:

All you diesel Furby owners who think you've got torque you want to see this thing its like the things standing still and its making the world spin round when you give it some welly.

The guy that's selling it is off his rocker he's also got a Mk1 Golf with a 5.7 Litre V8 Petrol and twin T4 Turbos (absolute loony). I'm sure I've come across this Golf in some of the mags.

Anyway we bought the Landie (

Sound good have fun :D

Sounds bonkers!

Had a poor running 300 TDi Disco (16.5bhp at the wheels at a rolling road day!!! ) and the places that would go when we took it offroad defied belief! :D Was also a great motorway cruiser too, until you needed to change direction or overtake something ;)

Enjoy!
