Hey all, just joined up and picked up my late 04 Anthracite Grey TDI 140 Elegance,

gotta say im impressed with it so far, its mint condition. nice and smooth to drive and quiet.

got it to average 52mpg on the way home, not driving fast or slow!

Hi! Bet everyone would love 52 mpg! I'm looking at petrol models and one of the things that is stopping me is the cost of fuel. If only the Diesel vRSs were as cheap! May have to wait a few years till I can induldge...

Thanks everyone, had her out last night again and put her through the paces a bit more, Mpg aint 52 any more lol. but not to big a drop, only down to around 40-42.

Ill have to try to pop round to one of our Irish meets, The one in Kilrea is just 5 mins away from my home!
