Odd noise at low revs when pulling away

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has heard this noise on the vRS TDi.

When I pull away at low revs, and then stop again (like if you were trying to edge out at a junction), then I hear a noise which sounds very much like a fuel pump priming the fuel system.

It only happens for a few seconds, then stops. It doesn't always happen when I pull away, but will do so probably 7 times out of 10.

I'd never heard before, until about a week ago. It's coming from the from the engine bay somewhere, but I can't be any more specific than that.

Any ideas?
