Smells of a CAT-C or D to me :)

Or worse

what are the details?

where did you see it advertised?

do you know the seller?

have you done a HPI check?

or a AA inspection?

is the seller a trader or private?

coudl be a private seller who needs it gone asap afterall. but sadly in this day and age if it is too good to be true then it probably is :(

Is this from a private seller or main dealer/dealer? Might just be mis-priced in which case it may be a bargain - ask to see V5, service history, hpi check and worth having a good look over it.

Agree with all above, something not right there at all!

Flood damage.

from a dealer you'd be looking to pay anything up to 10.5k for that year and mileage.

I'd speculate someone's f*cked it! Or it's a mis-print

There's occasionally the odd hacked account on Ebay saying "£6k buys this car" - usually a 55 plate/06 furby vRS. Any time I see one I report it straight to Ebay. Bloody spammers. £6.2k would either have to have about 150,000 miles on it or a dubious insurance history.

Chances are there'll be some fake story attatched about it being in another country and needing to get it shipped over, which is designed to sound believable. You pay using some sort of website, which supposedly tracks the delivery of your amazing bargain car. But surprise surprise at the end of it all, you lost your money and you have no car, and the website you paid the money to disappears.

This is a common scam at the moment.
