I am now toying with the idea of keeping it standard, one of my friends pointed out to me that a remapped car is worth alot less  I don't travel very far and can travel above the speed limit as it is, is it really worth remapping??

re mapping is worth it,and when you sell it you can get it removed and no one is any wiser, hell a lot of main dealers offer a map as a cost option, so the worth less money arguement just don't hold any water:D

Its worth it for the extra :D factor alone

You can get it put back to standard if its been remapped as well.

got a link or a pic?

they arn't illegal,in that thread the mot guy came on and spouted the regs, petrol illegal, derv not illegal as long as it passes a smoke test, and it will.

seat sport strut brace,£50 from seat, and you keep your warenty

312mm break conversion,around £200 2nd hand on ebay

jabba rarb £220 ish from jabba

then get a cusom map done, look down the site sponsors they all have offers at some point,

Don't bother with the de cat and exhaust unless you are going to change the turbo, would recomend the pd160 intake and a pipercross filter

enjoy:thumbup:

Might also be worth checking out PipeWerx - Performance Exhaust Specialist - don't think they are a million miles from you.
