Hello all,

I've just bought an '02 octavia elegance (cracking motor !) & my question is (and hope it's not too daft) does the elegance come fitted with an alarm as standard ?, I've read on some websites that they do and others that it is an option. .

I can't seem to set it off if it does have one, is there an obvious lump of hardware in the car to search for that will tell me either way ?

Not as standard. It does have a transponder immobiliser though. I've got one too.
