Featured Replies

i agree,but we won't know until its here,in 2010:rofl:

Cant fit the engine in the engine bay - call themselves engineers - Let Jason at it , he will make it fit :):D

If they cant fit the engine in , then why can't they build one without an engine , just to see if its going to be worth waiting for on the looks/equipment front??! Plenty of concept cars are built for (and displayed at) motorshows without running gear....Come on Skoda , lets see the car , and then WE will tell you whether its worth trying to make an engine fit , or whether you should just give up!...lol!

Why not a 1.4 or 1.6 turbo? Surely if a 1.9 turbo diesel will fit then an equivalent capacity petrol would go.

They won't use a 1.9 TDi, they will have to go for the 2.0 TDi to make it any good.

PD engines are on the way out too 'cause of the emissions and VAG are going over to common rail next year.

Perhaps they are waiting for all the engines to be converted to CR before commiting to an engine as they won't want to have to change half way through the life of the next vRS??
