I picked up a new Octavia VRS this week and need some info on MP3 players

I have the the MP3 connection between the seats what lead do I need and which MP3 players will work with the system.Will the player take its power from the car or will it have to run on batteries .

I have never had an MP3 player so please explain in detail.

Standard 3.5mm Stereo plug.

The MP3 player will have to have its own power suppy (e.g batteries)

Its only a 'line in' to the stereo.

male to male 3.5mm lead from maplins or similar type electrical place. then plug into your mp3 player (make sure it has batteries/charged).

You can get the leads from your dealer.

They're available in 2 lengths and are very reasonabley priced.
