to de-badge or not to

Featured Replies

Come to think of it I think my boot Skoda emblem is still attached to the bootlid on my wreck, if ya want it... ;)

how easy is it to take of the octavia badge and vRs off the boot? are they just stuck on? any tips for removal?

And who the Jabba ? Isnt he that fat bstard who cant feed himself without dribbling ?

Devon (not the Pornstar I hope), I need the Skoda badge mate, not the Favia thing - nice as it looks.

If it's anything like the Fabia ones, it's very easy. All you need to do is use a hair drier to warm up the adhesive then gently pull the letters off. I used tar remover to remove any residue left. Oh, and then wash the car so you don't have a clean patch where the badge used to be

Chris

Yeah put it on ebay and send me the link - I'll give u some coppers for it :)

I was looking for a Skoda badge to put on my Supra - anyone got one I can have ?
:nono:

Jason,

Think your ebay lot would be good for all those sneaky sorts who like re-badging:

I reckon the Re-badge or leave it alone, as de-badging is what BMW owners do when they have a 316 or 318 and are embarrased about it.

Alternatively, debadge and refit the F-A-B-I-A under the circular skoda logo on the boot, but spaced out wider... ??

If only Skoda made a car with an 'L' in the name we could all encourage lip reading.

If anyone is considering removing the Skoda badge from the rear, read this thread before trying to do so.
