Skoda Dan, i've been rumbled!

Busted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of interest, if you blank off the Diverter Valve and the pressure has nowhere to go surely that is going to seriously sh*g the bearings on the turbo as it `stalls`and goes from spinning very fast to a much lower speed/stop in next to no time?

I'd be surprised if it caused it too much damage tbh.

I've had a cossie running no dv and had no issues.

LOL Tiff

i thought with you been from east yorkshire, been called Mike and having access to a high powered cossie when you wanted that it was you LOL

can't believe you want a skoda:eek:

and yes the turbo will die very quickly if you remove the diverter valve as the internals aren't particularly strong but do agree that turbo stall sounds cool:thumbup:

It all added up eh? lol

and why not? They're pretty good cars, not overly expensive, look good, will take high miles and arent slow

the K03 shaft is thin compared to the cossie T3x type turbo, so cautious comparison is wise. :)

speaking from experience eh? LOL

What mileage has your done Dan?

Mines got just over 80k now and still going strong :D

Hmmm - i do at least 30k miles a year. hence why i want a low mileage one, so that its still on less than 100k in a years time.

I am considering going to look at a silver one with 75k miles on it..

Don't think there's many low mileage ones out there but good luck with your search, hope you get a good one

Cheers Dan

I went to look at one on Monday night that was a right dog :(

should've known given the price it was going for.

it might of had FSH and be HPI clear, but it'd still been in a decent sized prang!

Then all I need to do is plug in my laptop for the remap
