DX satnav sound?

Featured Replies

I have a chabce to get hold of a Skoda MFD but it has no sound coming from it. Any ideas if its something simple or if its FUBAR?

Have you got VAG-COM?

I'll wager it's coded for External Amp.

Nope, I've not bought it incase it is dead compeltely. Its going for £100 but I don't wanna risk that much money if its dead lol....

It's a gamble then Eh!!!

I've seen a couple of VW ones that are coded for the external amp which turns off the normal speaker out.

I think I'll give it a miss lol, not going to risk it. I'll save the dosh for my remap :P

Can't you get it on sale or return?

  • Author

Nope lol. He says it can be sent for repair, at my cost lol.

dilemma then, well worth £100 if it works as the Skoda ones are rare now.

If its set for external amp (DSP) it can be reset from the buttons on the front ,got the details at home but its something like press button x and y then button z,changed mine by accident and had to research how to get it back .
