Recently fitted an OEM B/Tooth (via VRStu) and jolly good it is too!

Just need the coding sorted to integrate it with the Maxdot, etc.

I have dropped a couple of PM's to members I found on a previous thread but after 8 days I have had no response. Of course, they could be away, hols, etc.

Is there anyone with a VAG-COM that can sort the coding for me?

I live in Cumbria but my work takes me all across the North of England and Scotland. Occassionaly, I pluck up the courage and go South of Crewe!

I am quite prepared to travel to your location, so if anybody can help me out, or point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Please forgive the newbie question, but all this talk of VAG-COM etc - can someone explain exactly what it is? I believe its software on a laptop, cable hook up to ones car (where?) allowing one to fiddle with all things fiddleable?

I'm pressuming so much more than having Maxidot etc.. I'm also pressuming the software is not available for an Apple Mac?! Na, didn't think so

I guess its also very possible to screw up ones car quite easily?! Does sound very techy and interesting though....
