my low fabia

Recommended Posts

After going in Skudmissile Johns car when it was lowered and then on normal suspension with a RARB fitted I'd say lowering pretty much adds nothing but an aesthetic improvement.

Apart from the reduced nose driving when braking that is.....

Having said that he never had it lowered and with the RARB at the same time to my knowledge so that would be interesting...... :D

But, I agree, the standard ride height is a little much. Too much air in the arches makes it look like a 4x4.

Will look good once the fronts are a bit lower Stuart, any more pics with the coloured centers?

That shows the pollished dish

And you can sorta see the colour there.

Ive got a alloy sump guard on mine which is frequently used, have you wound your coilovers all the way down?

Looking good Stuart, would say the fronts down so the tread is just in the archs.

Yeah got used to the noise of the guard hitting the floor now. Wound all the way down but I have 16's with a 40 profile so sits a bit lower. Just need to get on the phone to my uncle about the wider adaptors he is making, should sit just how I want them then.

air,pah bags are for:gay::rofl:

I would probably have agreed with you a couple of years ago but having done some research on the some of the VW websites, and had a ride in a mk4 Golf with airbags I'm converted. Handling was very good, ride quality was excellent even when running quite low and when we pulled back on his drive he just flicked a switch and raised the ride height by 3" in about 2 seconds!

Shame it's so expensive though. :(

Holy hell that's low.....that key pic is scary.

312's look massive too....properly fills the alloy. :D

I think this is acutely to low :thumbdwn:

My key does not fit under the car.

And its only 3cm so the car is +- 2.5 cm of the ground

It probably will go up :thumbup:one these days
