fitting sub

Featured Replies

hi all i'm getting a sub for the boot of my octy for crimbo just one of the small ones ,either the infinity bass link or the kenwood one ,i just have a few questions which would sound best and if i use the speaker line inputs would i lose my rear speakers!!!

Im still waiting gilly to do a write up for his. personally i would go for the Kenwood as they are known for the bass (and im a previous kenwood sub man too after trying many others).

You wont lose the back speakers just make a line from the attached speakers to the line in of the amp and then just mess around with the the dials/switches on the amp till you have the sub to the level you want.

You dont need to use the speaker level inputs, your oem HU has line level outputs, all you need is the correct wiring loom. Line level will sound better than the speaker level inputs.
