Warranty Work?!?!

Featured Replies

Hi All, Just had a two year service on the Fab and I have asked them to look at a few bits and bobs for me.............................I'm new to having a warranty and I wanted to check that the little niggles I have are covered?? I would ask the dealer but they closed till tomorrow and I'm impatient (Wooow!!! nearly put impatent:eek::rofl::rofl:) the niggles are as follows

1. Clutch pedal creaks now and then.

2. Passenger side rear door rattle. (really annoying)

3. Rear brakes noise (squeak!?) at low speeds. (I'm pretty sure this one is not)

Any info would help guys........................

Sorry: Car is Fab Vrs 55reg 13k

:thumbup::thumbup:

Assuming you're under 60k miles (which you must be for a 2 year service ) then all 3 should be covered :D

Even the brakes??? If so thats brilliant, annoys the hell out of me a slow speeds.

I thought they would say something like

"The brakes are your problem, wear depends on how hard/fast you drive etc"

Cheers

Pretty sure they'll look at it as there are known problems with the rear brakes moo'ing. No harm in asking anyway :D

I'm booked in at Chapel house, Wigan do you think it will be cheeky to ask for a courtesy car? Anyone had one off chapel house??

Like I said I'm new to having a car with a warranty...........so don't know what the norm is.

Its not being cheeky mate, it's quite normal but you really need to ask when you book it in cos they don't always have one available.

If they're good they'll wash it for you too!

Lsat courtesy car I had was a nice Octy II with less than 1k on it :)

:-) used to do 75k a year in mine, serviced every six weeks, and never a problem apart from the front nearside dipped beam headlight going quite regular

The garage used to replace it, whenever I appeared, whilst I waited and just added the cost to the service bill (I was not paying it was a company car "By my request" ) though I was only allowed the basic Fabia 1.9tdi

Twas a sad day when company policy decided twoyear or 100k Miles Then replaced with a damn Pug 206 SW 1.4d

Boss had to save to cover the cost of his Jag XJ12S :-)

75k a year!!!????.....lordy what job do you have to drive that far every year?....you must be driving 24hrs a day 7 days a week!!:(

k:)

If you assume an average speed of 40mph, it only works out at 1875 hours of driving a year which is about 5 hours driving a day :D If my maths is correct ... which it probably isn't :o:rofl:
