So the price has come DOWN then ? (I wish) or knowing Skoda the spec WILL have dropped ! When do they change the prices ?

We are already in the 2008MY production, changes were minimal and mostly revolved around the spec of the elegance and L&K models.

The Octavia model year (MY) changes take place around July time so you are either very early or very late :D

The motoring press says the 2008 update is late summer. New grille as per Roomster/Fabia etc. The 2008 Focus has ESP standard and bluetooth is becoming common on competitors I would expect something along those lines added, plus the VW green motion should be found - again Ford is delivering Focus 1.6Tdi with 115g CO2 and 60+ mpg. So I would also expect to see the new VW engine range to keep Skoda in line with theri competitors.

Thats about the time, and these updates will be for the 2009MY.
