The strangest thing happen to me Saturday night in town when i was working.I had just dropped of 2 girls(damn they were beauties too ) and carried on my way.The next thing is i get Blue lights flashing behind me,so i stopped.Well,well i thought i just been pulled by Dorset Police and they were driving a 52 plate VRs.

Both officers get out and 1 approaches me and starts talking about how he has got an 04 plate Octavia TDi and tells me all about it while the other one runs the normal cecks on my car.

Anyway after all his enthusiam for Octavias he then says you have just made an illegal right turn and gives me a £30 spot fine and a 7 day ticket to produce at my local station.

I thought he just stopped for a chat at the start but then he suddenly relised after a while what he had pulled me for!!

I also gave him this website address too so he can check it out.(Was that a good idea??)

I was stopped a couple of years back in my 2.8 Capri. He followed me for six miles before hand, pulled me over and then spent a while looking over the car. It transpired he was looking for one on eBay and just wanted a nosey at the car. Nice bloke, although he nearly gave me three points and a fine for a boderline tyre - I think my good manners saved me on that one.

I saw a broken vRS being towed back to Weymouth police station the other day (last Friday, iirc)

i got off a speeding ticket and got one for a dirty number plate years ago. the best thing was he stopped my boss the next day and started chatting then realised it was my boss and commented on how polite and courtesious i was!!! my boss nearly fainted with shock, he honestly thought the copper was talking about someone else lol.

most traffic cops ive come across seem like really decent chaps.

they know the difference between bad/dangerous driving and just driving a bit quick.

ive felt like doing a citizens arrest a few times on retarded individuals!! namely some dozy woman in a huge merc cutting me up on the M1 recently. i manged to keep my cool. but it was hard not to snap!
