What do you call your car?

Featured Replies

Well, just before the appoitment with the midwife the Skoda got named by my wife - Flick! Don't ask - no idea why, but it's now called Flick!

Flick is a commonish diminutive for girl's names like Felicity, and Felicia isn't a million miles removed from there, so it makes sense to me.

I think I'll have to agree with you on that one, I guess it does make sense now  - how come a name comes to the car easier than baby that's due? We've had almost 8 months, and still nothing

Maybe you could just wait for the baby to tell you what her/his name is :D

No leg-pulling, I'm as serious as Ken. I guess you have a bunch of possible alternatives and when you see the wee one you'll just know what fits

if it's a girl, we're pretty much sorted, if it's a boy, then we're a little stuck!

"my car" , because I don't feel the need to personify a large lump of metal

Similar here..... except its "The Car"

why don't you name it after one of your cars? felicity is a nice name. my fun is called felicity so that's a good choice.

All my cars have names otherwise how would you know which one to repair when the wife has broken one.

"my car" , because I don't feel the need to personify a large lump of metal

next you're going to say they don't have feelings.

:P:P
