Bus driver the game

Yes it exists.

I downloaded the demo on Thursday night and bought it on Friday.

It sounds sad but it is fun and addictive.

I even found some you-tube vids. One guy modified the souce code so he could get the bus to do 80/90mph. it would drift round bends.

Just downloading the Demo now... Is it really sad that im a bus driver any way... then going to be playing a game in which the aim is to drive busses.... lol

How do i mod it... i want to go faster!

If our busses went that slow i think i would just ram them into a wall somewhere (with no passengers on of course!).

Quite a fun game. Might have to try for a highest minus score record.

Have managed to do the "tune-up" - Makes for some serious fun! :evil:

The local bus drivers play a game too...

It's called amber gambler. The layout of the course is a long straight road with traffic lights. At each junction a bus lane has been created with it's only light sequence.

If the light is on green then the bus joins the normal traffic lane, freeing up the bus lane for, erm...

Amber! Alert the bus driver must now get out of the normal lane into the buss lane for his lane lights will be green...yay he passed.

the scary ones are when the bus lights go; yep you guess it, Amber, suddenly a 10 tonne bus wants out of his dedicated lane into the normal lane. Well that's when the fun and game begin, cars scatter, passengers wobble, but he's through...scrrrrrrrrrrr the town planners lost again.

But my true favorite is seeing a forlorn bus sitting in the normal lane with the bus lane on green, that truly has to be the best and normally worthy of a celebratory horn parp and thumbs up.

Tell me is there a way to practice this art form?

ps think it's right for bus lanes, just makes me chuckle when they play this and end up sitting net to the green lighted bus lane.

actually a funny game, but I would like to play the modded version as well.

I have a PSV license. I'm guessing you don't have to know all about E.U. Working regulations to play this game then?

Good fun driving a bus down a freeway at over 100mph, but they don;t handle well at all.
