Am I going deaf? Did I hear them say they paid £11k for a 3-4 yr old 330D with about 45k on the clock?

Think my future car plans might all change:eek:

I heard that too and thought WTF, that isn't a bad buy... However as they proved, the pre 2003/2004 cars liked to eat turbo.

i wouldn't exactly call it standard or normal use though, would you?

Run flat out on badly produced bio-diesel in most cars and you'll have problems.

No, but it was an impressive cloud of smoke :D

Could've been a Cat D??

Could've been a Cat D??

It probably was after they'd finished with it

No idea what model/spec it was, but just looked it up on Glass's:

BMW 3 Series 330d SE

3.0TD Diesel 4-door Saloon

6 Speed Manual Rear Wheel Drive

Year: 2003 03

Mileage: 45,000

Estimated value of your car

Part-exchange Price:

Excellent condition: £10550

Average condition: £9540

Below average condition: £8450

So 11k seems a fairly representative price

I think the bio-diesel was the least of it's problems.......

I couldn't believe the price of it either - Skodas are affordable in comparison! I don't think bio diesel is the answer by the looks of what was going on with top gear!

Hmm now that is a bit of a bargain with a WD added

Strike me as a really good value for money product, but things that look too good to be true, usually are sadly. Still 11K for a great car!!!! Hmmmm nice:)
