I noticed yesterday that the heater fan on my Fabia vRS speeds up when I engage reverse gear. I can't think of any logical reason why this should happen. I don't suppose anyone else has noticed something similar????

Happens on all of them. It goes into recirc to stop you sucking in all those horrible nasty diesel fumes.

So to de-fog in the morning stick it on full and put in reverse, that right?

ha ha yeah mine does this mate nothing to wory about very clever actually these little czech dudes

Another thing I'm going to try never noticed that before and usually the heater is the first thing on in the car in the morning.
