Nipping to Halfords later for a new reg plate, and thought i'd try and get some decent bulbs while i was there.

I've got an '02 octy vRS and the headlights lights are pap.

Any recommendations on bulbs??

What can I get away with wattage wise?

I'd order them online personally as you'll get a better selection for less money. Car Bulbs from Power Bulbs - upgrade xenon car bulbs, headlight bulbs, autobulbs and autolamps from Philips, Osram and Narva. Philips X-Treme Power, Osram NightBreaker, Osram Silverstar and more. get my vote

Any of the bulbs should be an improvement - I run the Philips Xtremes and they are really good

my vote is for the phillips power extreme. the previous bulbs i had were osram 11w off road use only and the phillips are far superior. had mine for almost a year now

halfords are currently doing their 50% Brighter Super Brilliance Bulbs at Buy 1 Get 1 Free normally £15 each, I just bought them a few days ago and thay give a lot brighter, whiter lighting

Seriously, these bulbs look blueish when in the packet, but give you a very white light when in place and on.
