Looking at getting one fitted, down pipe, hi flow cat and cat back. Not many people seem to do this on here but surely the gains will be ok in terms of performance?

You wont gain much HP, but you will notice the car will be able to pull earlier for longer . Even more so with a re-map

have you looked at any other makes as a comparison. I looked at both Milltek and Jetex when I bought mine and eventually went with Jetex.

Youe better off with an straight through pipe fitted for around £80

I paid £600+ for my full Miltek and ended up cutting it off and fitting a custom box and single pipe!

I had a Ibiza PD130 TDi with a few extra's including turbo upgrade.

I had the full turbo back Miltek system fitted before I found out that a single straight through pipe(cost me £80 + £100 with backbox) would do the same or maybe even better.

I passed the MOT with it fitted also

I have a nice Milltek fitted, do it for the noise! Above 3,000 rpm it comes alive

Millitek front to back on mine, but was fitted by previous owner, as well as a K&N panel filter. Car pulls like a train all the way across the range, but I have no benchmark to compare it against. With diesels you tend not to get the same degree of noise out the back as you do with a petrol lump, or maybe I just haven't noticed.

I had a full non resonated twin jet system on my old ibiza fr tdi. Oh and yes, thats my car on Millteks website also had a hybrid turbo on it and the sound was imense. The turbo whistle sounded like a police car, and when giving it beans it sounded as good as a petrol car

people like you piss me off,quoting utter bullshit like this,there was a thread on this subject not so long ago with an mot tester qouting from the regs book,on a derv it is not illegal as long as the car passes a smoke test,on a petrol it is illegal to decat,so next time beforespouting this utter nonsense check your facts:mad:

Too many threads about stuff that's been covered before - people need to search more often and be ignored rather than responded to when they can't be bothered.

Looking at getting bits without going on one mad spree like i did on the derv. I already got a milltek dp and cat, courtacy of rash 4bar fpr and boost valve courtacy of gaz, and a evo heat gasket courtacy of badger 5 so yep, its coming on matey just need to buy the car now :lol:
