Fan switch not working on Number 1

Featured Replies

Managed to catch the fascia that covers the controls for the heater switches with a shopping bag, resulting in the plastic piece inside coming away, I managed to put it back together but the fan switch will not work on Number 1. Is there anybody out there can help me please.

Someone must know how to sort it please.

Sorry don't know mate, BUMP!

Did you search?

It's not uncommon and something to do with the resistor. It has been covered quite a bit in the past.

The question is was it working on posn one before the damage to the switch facia plate

A common fault with Fabia is the resistor fails first pos1 then 2 and so on unti you either have zilch or full on

If that is the case then it is the resistor pack which is covered on here an a search would resovle it

If it was working before the damage then it is down to the build of the switch and I have no experience of this to help (others might)

Sorry
