good work mate how long did it take you?

Very Shiny!

The camera makes the car look a little pinkish though - or is it my LCD panel??

Think we spent the best part of two and half hours on it. And it was bl**dy cold. I did SWMBO's van later on and it was icing up as I was washing.

I think the colour must be a combination of the camera and winter sun.

Looks as good as new , good work guys :)

Clean the car - 2 hours

Mrs PP to dirty the car again - 5 minutes.

Married bliss - Priceless :)

Is that orange peel effect on the paint, i see on the side

That looks dangerously clean - best not drive it in case it gets dirty again ;)

Chris

Looks good

also looks like someone's garage could do with a clearout :P

Thanks for taking my PC cherry Mr. Gill :D

I got mine off fleabay. With the transformer and extension lead, the best part of £200.

Worth every penny :)

Jeez that it shiny!!!

Can you put down the steps/stuff you used? Tips?

I know where I can get a copycat machine for cheap and would love to buff out all the tiny scratches that a dusty environment gives to a black fabia....

Cheers

It costs about 20 quid to have the car professionally hand-waxed, scratches rubbed out here - they are really quite expert as well. I just would have liked to do it myself. At the prices for the real PC, plus shipping it just doesnt work out to get one....

Lovely job there Mr. PP - really gorgeous

found the megs one at 150 quid, would this come under cheap immitation?

Nice job.

I remember when I first used mine. The neighbours thought I was using an angle grinder:rofl:

Screwfix Direct, Toolman, anywhere like that. Your local DIY store may also sell them.

thanks everyone for the info,i will look into this in the new year when i have some more cash:thumbup:

The Meg's polisher has the makings of a good device, with the benefit that it's ready to go for the UK. With the promise of being quieter and less harsh on the operator :)

I know Meg's have delayed it a few times because they've not been happy with the end result, so it could be something worth looking into.

Very good effort that though Mr Pat, especially at this time of year. As you might have found, get a bit difficult with polishes and waxes sticking and curing with these temps

That's why I tend to get mine done before the clocks go back, and pretty much leave it till Spring - standard washing aside

Steve

Steve the G220 polisher is out.
