Smashed up alloys

Featured Replies

I took my Roomster2 into my local tyre shop last week to have the front tyres replaced, which at 7k miles I thought a little premature but that was the least of my worries.

The tyre fitter proceded to try and remove the tyres and proceded to trash one of the allow wheels, much to my dismay.

After a few heated words he agreed to replace the wheel so I ordered one from my local dealer which was delivered the next day. The dealer confirmed that the design of the "BEAR" alloy is of particular concern and is prone to being trashed by tyre fitters.

So all roomster 2 owners or other skoda owners who have "BEAR" alloys fitted be aware and pay particular attention when having tyres replaced.
