Recently had work done on my Fabia VRS and the missus 1.4 and would highly recommend DSB Autocare in Bulwell, Notts. I recently moved to the area and was weary of garages/ dealerships that i didn't know of:confused:

Dave and Sara provided a friendly excellent service and clearly take pride in their job. The car had been valeted as a matter of course and the cost of 30K service, front tyres, wipers, MOT was half the cost of that quoted by a dealer

I am in no way connected to the business, simply wanted to pass on details of a independant service/ repair garage who provide a quality service:)

Good to hear of a good garage in Notts - going to be taking my vRS to independants from now on. Anyone else use these people before?

They have been reviewed elsewhere on the forum, and got a highly rated review, so though give them try, and agree they are well worth supporting, excellent service, friendly, high standard of work, and I'd go back anytime.

Hope they get more customers, they deserve it

I have used this garage 3 times now, and they are just excellent. Good prices helpful and plenty of tea cannot recommend highly enough.

Since beginning of Jan been back three times . Two new front springs and top mount bearings one rear spring.

Finally today the water pump gasket went, rang at 10 ish told to get it recovered in and Dave would have a look. He had two other cars in but juggled his schedule to get mine sorted. Loads of tea drunk and car sorted same day cannot recommend highly enough.

But due to my Fabia having an unhealthy (for my wallet :eek:) relationship with Dave I am getting an Octy II and guess who is going to be looking after it?

To sum up a great garage honest and reliable and a proper mechanic who knows all his Skodas from a Favorit to an OctyII. (And Sara makes a mean cuppa)

My son-in-law had booked his Fabia into DSB for a service today. On arrival he was advised that there had been a break-in overnight and all the tools had been stolen!! Dave (DSB) was clearly upset that he had to send him away but what can you do???

I wish Dave all the best in getting his business back up and running and I, for one, will certainly be taking my Octy there in future.

This kind of small, good quality, business is to be commended and supported and it's up to us to do it.

Had a 40K service done by Dave on my missus felicia, Dave was struggling with his lack of equipment but top job done as always.

Just had the annual service on my Fabia VRS, (for sale see for sale section!) faultless service and friendly advice, guy knows his stuff. definetly will be using in future. (when I buy an octy vrs!)

Bump! Just had mine serviced for only £118 (20k). Excellent as all the previous posts mention. Glad I have found a decent garage in the East Mids.

More work done by DSB, MOT on the Octavia straight through no problems. MOT and annual service on the Felicia (failed on a rear numberplate bulb ), still very impressed cup of tea waiting for me when I got there.Plus Dave now has a Superb. Service on the Octy next and a cambelt later in the year.
