Fuel beep but lots of fuel

Featured Replies

Ok, recently (twice in the last 3 days) just after pulling away in the Fabia, I have had the beep that would indicate the fuel light coming on but plenty of fuel. Is this something to do with the cold weather or does it mean something else? No warning light comes up on the dash.

Many thanks,

Duggie:thumbup:

Ususally when you get down to 4oC you get a warning bong, possibly that?

It might be the outside temp warning beep mine beeps all the time due to the cold weather

Ok, That'll be it... was 0.5oC where I was this morning. Thanks guys, nothing to worry about then!

just wait for the day that:

it's less than 2 deg outside

you're low on fuel

you're low on washer fluid

you're due your next service

and you attempt to drive away with the handbrake on.

bing bing bing bing bing !

(and then, just for good measure, you leave the lights on when you get back out the car):shakehead

is there any way to delete double posts, not just edit them ?
