Dual system, PD TDi tuning

Featured Replies

What is Dual System ?

Dual System is a state of the art tuning product that allows previously inexperienced operatives to carry out high tech performance upgrades on a wide variety of popular vehicles.

The unit which is easily programmed effects the upgrade to the relevant vehicle via the on board diagnostic socket. The unit permits the vehicle to run in standard or modified form and can allow reversal of mode as many times as the user wishes.

There will never be any issue over manufacturers warranty as the vehicle can be switched back to standard at anytime without any trace of upgrading having taken place.

Who is it for ?

Any of your customers wishing to obtain between 20% and 25% power and torque from their vehicle without detriment to the driveability and reliability and at the same time in most cases an improvement in overall fuel consumption.

No offence intended here, as this is a totally new and interesting thing to me, but what I think nowadays people are interested in where and when the power is delivered as opposed to just the max BHP figure. I think we all like to boast a bit about our BHP, but there are differences in "the curves" and how smooth power is delivered. I'll reserve any judgment at all until I see a dyno.

Remember that Jabba's tuning gives a lot of low down grunt to diesels. I think my power exceeds 100BHP down only at 1500RPM, and touches 150+BHP at only 3000RPM, with max torque coming in at 2000RPM ish. If this can match that I'll be impressed!

the problem with too much low RPM torque is it loads up the clutch and drive train too much and can cause problems

I think alot of people are getting this on there re-map'd 130 PD's if they start getting close to 180 bhp and 390Nm the standard parts start to struggle big time.
